The first FDA-approved drug treatment for dry age-related macular degeneration – Pegcetacoplan – is currently under MHRA review for routine use in the UK.
However, it is already available for UK patients via an early access program run by Bionical Emas. The ARMD Clinic is now registered to procure and administer this drug for named patients who meet the criteria.
