About Us

Mr Yodaiken’s ARMD patients benefit from his skill and experience in treating retinal disorders.

After qualifying as a physician and completing specialist training as an ophthalmologist in South Africa, Mr Yodaiken relocated to the UK, where he completed fellowships in anterior segment surgery and age-related macular degeneration.

Mr M.M. Yodaiken

FRCOphth, FRCS, FCS (Ophth), Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon

His career in the NHS included a post as a consultant with special interest in medical retina, undertaking over 10,000 injections for ARMD. He now sees patients privately at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle, and in his own Salford-based clinic.

Mr Yodaiken’s genuine interest and compassion make him a popular clinician. His belief that patients of any age deserve the best possible care make him an ideal choice of care provider for ARMD patients. When several of his NHS patients were offered care at an alternative clinic, every one of them voted to remain under his care, testifying to the excellent relationship he has with his patients.
